The Good news we have an all hearing litter.  We do have two Uni's as I suspected and 3 Bilateral hearing pups.  The liver boy Phill has a single blue eye.  Here are stacked photos of these pretty babies at 6.5 weeks.  They just keep getting prettier and prettier!!

Here are the pups at 5.5 weeks of age.  I had wanted to get the pups hearing tested today but the vet I go to was not available today.  This Thursday in the AM they are scheduled for the test.  I do think I have one puppy who is a Uni.  A uni-lateral hearing puppy means they hear in one ear but not both.  The pups as they get exposed to the noises of life learn to compensate for the lack of hearing in the one ear and respond correctly to the noise direction as time goes on.
They are looking so cute and are really pretty pups.  Always wagging their tails and can't wait to meet new people.

Hearing test will be scheduled  for 3/15/12 and will be able to determine close to that time which pups are pets and which will be show pups.  Enjoy...

Since this next weekend will be a busy weekend for dog shows I decided I had better try to get some photos of the pups this weekend.  The pups are barely standing so these show side photos are just to see the spotting pattern of the pups not for structure.  I did get a hearing response from all pups so I believe they all hear.  Need to schedule the BAER test with the vet.

Mom and babies are happy and healthy!!  Sunami is being a great mom and the pups are strong and healthy.  Chilly the first girl born is already starting to open her eyes.  All pups have their busy spurts of crawling and barking around the whelping box...so cute!  I am impressed as they are all really pretty babies so far.
Shortly after the eyes open we will home hearing testing.

We Have 5 new Babies!!!
Sunami X Chaplin pups arrived on 2/1/2012 Groundhog's Day so that is our litter theme.  Mom and babies are doing great and settling in quickly and quitely.
Here is the breakdown of pups.

"Chilly" Black Girl first born at 4:00 pm --15.3 oz
"Spring" Liver Girl born at 4:50 pm --1.05 pds
"Shadow" Black Male born at 5:18 pm --15.5 oz
"Winter" Black Male born at 9:15 pm --12.8 oz
"Phil" Liver Male born at 10:26 pm --15.4 oz
No pups are patched. 

What pretty babies we had!!!  They all have sweet, happy, out-going temperament too!  All pup's but two are in their new homes.  Georgia in TX, Emma in FL, Daisy Mae,Dolly, Ruby in Southern CA, Jack & Hank in Nor CA.  The co-breeder Sharyon is thinking about keeping Bandit and will make her decision about him this weekend.  If she decides not to keep him he would be available.
